Our Story…

While living with my mother during the pandemic, I witnessed firsthand the struggles she faced with her swimwear. As she navigated menopause, she found that most swimsuits were suffocating, uncomfortable, or lacked the support she needed. Her experience highlighted a broader issue:

Swimwear often fails to accommodate the beautifully diverse & ever-changing bodies of women.

Driven by a desire to address this gap, we set out to create swimwear that works with our changing bodies, not against them. Inspired by my great-great-aunt Lucy’s classic wool bathing suit from the 1920s, we’re reviving the charm and elegance of swimwear with a modern twist.

SEROTONE SWIM is for those who dread putting on a bathing suit and prefer something that feels like a celebration of their unique beauty.

Join us in embracing the joy of swimwear that’s as dynamic and vibrant as the women who wear it.

Who am I?

Sewing is a family tradition that began with my Italian-born great-great-aunt Lucy, a skilled seamstress at Bergdorf Goodman. When my mother taught me how to sew at 12, I knew I was destined for a career in design in NYC. After graduating from the Wilson College of Textiles, I spent over a decade in the city as a designer and product developer, specializing in technical sportswear and intimates. Now, I’m channeling that expertise into SEROTONE SWIM, where I craft swimwear that blends technical innovation with timeless style.
